يبحث ركام في مسألة المادة، منقّبًا عن الهيئة الإنسانية الباحثة عن مأوى ولا تجد شيئًا غير الدمار. تستمر الإبادة ويبقى المُحتل متعطشًا للدماء، مستخدمًا أسلحةً حرارية تحول المادة الإنسانية إلى لحم منصهر وأدخنة متبخرة. يتحرى ركام ظواهر الحروف المتحلّلة، والمستنبطة من خطي النسخ والثلث ذوي الجوهر الإنساني، محاكيًا البدن بعد الوقع، كاشفًا بذلك حقائق الجسم البشري في وجه آليات الهلاك.
Rukaam explores the concepts of matter and state—the solid versus the liquid—as it digs into the state of the human seeking shelter, only to find destruction. Where an ongoing genocide and a blood-thirsty occupier wielding thermal weapons are, humanity is forcibly reduced to melting flesh and evaporating fumes. Rukaam serves as an investigation into the decaying phenomena of hybrid letterforms, derived from humanist Naskh and Thuluth, loosely mimicking the texture of human flesh after impact, and symbolically divulging the realities of the human body in the face of mechaniSed doom.
ديانا الزعبي مصمّمة تقيم في عمّان، تستخدم التواصل البصري في التعبير عن ذاتها باعتباره وسيلة إيقاف الزمن، وتعليق اللحظات العابرة، وتحويل الإدراك إلى ذاكرة، وتتحرّى العلاقة بين الحاضر والغائب من خلال عملية قائمة على التجريب والتأمل، لتؤرشف اللحظات التي قد تتلاشى مع مرور الوقت.
A designer and visual communicator based in Amman, Diana explores design as a way to capture time, suspend fleeting moments, and transform ordinary perception into memory. Through a process rooted in experimentation and reflection, she investigates the relationship between presence and absence, archiving moments that might otherwise fade.
